Commerce City stretches along the northeast Denver metro area, bordered by Denver International Airport. It offers convenient highway access via I-76, I-270, E-470 and Highway 2. Within a 20 minute drive, residents can easily enjoy either a night out in Denver or hop on a plane to explore the world through Denver International Airport. The climate is sunny and mild year round with over 300 days of sunshine.

Over 840 acres of parks, open spaces, trails and recreation facilities provide abundant amenities. Eagle Pointe and Bison Ridge Recreation Centers house aquatic centers, fitness facilities, educational classes, pickleball courts and more. Regional draw Dick’s Sporting Goods Park hosts concerts and Colorado Rapids games. Sand Creek Greenway Trail offers miles of walking, biking and horseback riding.

Commerce City’s longstanding Derby Day celebration features a parade, carnival and rodeo. Other annual events include the 4th of July fireworks, Brew Fest, and LatinoFest. Residents enjoy shopping and dining at Northfield Stapleton and Denver West Village nearby. Museums like Buffalo Overlook honor historic roots.
Commerce City Education
Brighton School District 27J and Adams County School District 14 serve Commerce City students through schools like Prairie View High and Rose Hill Elementary. Higher education options are minutes away in Denver and Aurora.
